What to Expect During the PRF Injection Process

What Is PRF?

Some amount of stem cells and white blood cells remain in PRF while the PRP contains a high concentration of platelets only.

Another difference is that there are no additives added to PRF, unlike PRP. PRF makes use of the natural fibrinogen in the blood that helps in clot formation, creating a matrix. The lower speed of centrifugation also helps PRF retain ten times more platelets as compared to normal blood.
